Biography

Professor Shuigao Jin is a pioneering leader and a foundational figure in the fields of Public Health Informatics and Health Statistics in China. Over a distinguished career spanning more than four decades, he spearheaded the construction of China's national public health information network, achieving a strategic transition from traditional data management to standardized, large-scale digitalization. His academic contributions to complex data modeling, population-based mortality monitoring, and large-scale epidemiological statistics have earned international acclaim.

With an extensive global perspective, Professor Jin served as the Director of the WHO Collaborating Center for the Family of International Classifications (ICD) for many years and contributed as a core expert to the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) studies. His profound expertise in scientific data governance, academic integrity assessment, and scientific methodology has established him as a highly respected authority in the international scientific community.
